HLS Series Servers & Workstations

EBS offers 64 bit servers and workstations as part of our HLS Computing Series of High Performance, Lower Cost, Secure Computing solutions. Designed to run the Solaris 10 Operating System on AMD 64 bit processors, these products represent the next generation of computing platforms. All HLS systems support both single and dual core processors and SATA hardware RAID disk technology. In their standard configuration, HLS systems are delivered preloaded with Solaris 10 along with a rich set of tools and applications. All HLS systems are also capable of runing the Linux and Windows operating systems.

The Athena S⁴ server is an enterprise class, AMD Opteron^TM 64 bit quad processor server which provides midrange to large server performance levels in a 3U rackmount system. Equipped with 2N+1 redundant power supplies and 5 drives bays, it is suitable for high performance computing as well as enterprise applications. Supports up to 32 Gigabytes of memory and is available with either SATA II or SCSI drives.

The Athena S² server is an AMD Opteron^TM 64 bit dual processor server that supports up to 16 Gigabytes of memory and can handle demanding transaction workloads for Web hosting, Email, database, storage and other infrastructure applications. Available in 2-bay, 4-bay and 8-bay SATA II or SCSI drive configurations.

The HLS IIW workstation is an AMD Opteron^TM 64 bit, dual processor workstation designed to meet the compute-intensive needs of financial, scientific, engineering, medical and academic environments. It supports up to 8 Gigabytes of memory and two SATA or UATA drives.
